Holiday Background
Anyone with a background in holiday photography has at one point or another found an image that is so perfect, that she or he would like to use it for something. Yet oftentimes there are limits on what this something can be. Granted, you will be able to upload it to the Internet and proudly display it on a website, and you may even be able to use it as a holiday background on that same website, but short of that there might not have been many other uses that popped into you mind. This does not have to be the case. For example, use your winter and holiday background pics as backdrops for your emails. This will instantly personalize your outgoing communications and at least for personal correspondence make the recipient appreciate you so much more!

Additionally, you could use your holiday backgrounds as free holiday backgrounds for other visitors of your site to download and enjoy. You will be able to bask in the knowledge that your images are being used on computers worldwide, and someone else will derive enjoyment from your desktop holiday backgrounds. If you are on MySpace, holiday backgrounds can be uploaded and create your own personalized MySpace holiday image via the background you choose. Granted, your creativity might be a bit limited there, but it is a great use for holiday page borders and backgrounds.

If you are still somewhat unsure of how to use your digital holiday photo backgrounds to your advantage, consider using them as free holiday photo card backgrounds. If you are savvy with your image software, you will be able to manipulate the holiday background to be either lighter or even somewhat translucent. Thus, you are then able to make good use of the holiday background as a decorative image that can be sent through the mail. As you can see, it does not matter if you are letting your images be used as free holiday backgrounds for desktop or MySpace, or simply as a holiday background for printable cards. The notion of immortalizing an image you yourself created is priceless!
